Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDot Clusters centers on grouped clusters of pixels arranged as dots near the main text or image object. These samples show names and phrases with nearby tight dot bunches and small animated specks, creating a local focal texture beside the core icon elements.
