Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDollz are small pixel-art dolls customized with hairstyles, outfits, names, and glitter. This collection includes still portraits and animated variations.
Start with the pose, then look at the clothes, hair, and lettering. Similar figures can carry different names, outfits, or messages; watching a full animation may reveal a wardrobe change or a caption that the first frame misses. Name Dollz and Fashion Dollz offer two different ways into those variations.
