Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDisappointed covers moments with visual cues of letdown, regret, or emotional let-off in a character or caption pairing. Downturned expression markers and supportive text often align to make the sentiment immediately clear even when detail is sparse.
