Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDigital Font denotes text drawn in electronic or pixel-like lettering, where each character reads as a deliberate graphic element. In these samples, the words often become the primary focus while scenes or objects play a supporting role.
