Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDiagonal Stripes uses angled bands that cut across the icon plane, commonly as a recurring texture or backdrop. The slant can be used to imply motion, separate text zones, or add visual structure without complex illustration.
