Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDenim Shorts indicates figures showing short denim garments as a key visual element, usually as shorts on lower-body framing in portraits. In buddy icons, seam lines, rips, or belt details often keep the garment identity clear across pose shifts.
