Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDark Background is a composition where the icon field reads as a deep black, charcoal, or similar dim canvas, while nearby figures or text pop forward. In these icons, light clothing, pale skin, and bright outlines stay readable because they rely on contrast more than detail.
