Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksCursive Script is handwritten-style lettering, marked by connecting strokes and looping forms that resemble a stylized signature. On buddy icons, the script often sits beneath or beside bolder base text, so the curved letter shapes become the visual hook at a tiny size.
