Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksCircles marks buddy icons where circular geometry drives layout, from repeated rings and dots to full icon forms built around a central orb. A circular focal point, halo-like outlines, or clustered round symbols helps orientation even when text and images are busy.
