Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksChocolate Chip Cookie depicts confection-themed icons with a round cookie base and visible chip dots, often paired with frosting planes or sweet text labels. A chip spacing pattern, edge crust, or melted-candy highlights can identify these icons even when the image is heavily downscaled.
