Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksChibi Style marks buddy icons with intentionally shortened proportions and oversized heads paired with simplified bodies. Look for large eyes, compact torsos, and expressive silhouettes that make facial cues the primary recognition point.
