Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksCake identifies buddy icons where a cake is the primary object, separate from broader party composition, whether on a plate, beside a character, or paired with sentimental text. Frosting texture, berry decorations, and candle style are practical visual markers at tiny icon scale.
