Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBuddy Icons By Nanto is an original source label preserved with the archive records, identifying origin or circulation context for those buddy icons. The visual content can vary widely across frames, so style should not be treated as the meaning of the label.
