Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBroken Heart is a damaged heart motif, shown as split or cracked shapes with separated halves and distressed edges. In buddy icons, the fracture line, dripping marks, or matching text overlays can make the emotional symbol read instantly at tiny resolution.
