Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBow tags refer to buddy icons where a ribbon bow is the key motif, either worn by a figure, attached to text, or placed as a standalone graphic mark. Loops, tied knots, and bow ribbons with pink, white, or cyan accents recur more than any single framing style.
