Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBold refers to intentionally thick visual weight through heavy strokes, high-contrast palettes, and confident spacing. In buddy icons, assertive lettering, saturated color blocks, and heavy outlines can dominate without requiring complex scene detail.
