Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBlue Water indicates imagery where blue water is a dominant scene element, from swimmers and pools to stylized aquatic maps. In buddy icons, wave texture, floating body contours, and aquatic blues provide the immediate setting cue.
