Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBlue Hearts refers to icons using heart symbols colored in blue tones as a recurring motif. Hearts may replace words, repeat in rows, or sit beside phrases, providing a compact emotional marker while still allowing the rest of the graphic to remain simple.
