Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBlocky Text Font describes bold, heavy lettering with thick squared strokes and compact pixel-like proportions. In buddy icons, these captions or slogans sit clearly with simple figures, and oversized letters carry the composition even when backgrounds are noisy.
