Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBending Knees refers to buddy icons that show figures with knees visibly flexed or shifting through a bent-leg stance. The key cue is lowered joint angle during a pose, jump, or turn, often giving a sense of balance or movement in compact frames.
