Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBeach Scene shows seashore settings reduced to tiny icon compositions with sand, water, and shoreline as the anchor. In buddy icon samples, lounge chairs, palm trees, heart markings in sand, and torn-paper or handwritten text accents are common, often set against blue sky tones.
