Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBasketball identifies buddy icons centered on a basketball and court-like visuals, such as wooden floor texture, bars, or court framing. Most samples place short labels near a panelled orange ball, so ball detail plus court-adjacent context is the quick identification anchor.
