Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksBaseball Bat icons center on a baseball bat as a clear object, often held by a player sprite, paired with text blocks or team labels. At tiny scales, bat angle, handle direction, and adjacent balls or home-plate cues help separate sport action from simple object graphics.
