Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksArrangement is the repeated placement of matching motifs in one icon, like spirals, hearts, or text blocks repeating across the frame. The repeated units create a clear pattern, so spacing, count, and alignment carry the visual message before any single element stands alone.
