Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.

A close portrait gives a character's expression room to read, while a scene or animated gesture can carry a reaction. If you recognize the series, its own collection is a useful next stop. For an unfamiliar face, open the icon's source record to look for a surviving character or series name.
