Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksAnime Character Face marks buddy icons built from close-up anime-style portrait compositions with exaggerated eyes and simplified anime hair. In these samples, eye shape, mouth line, and expression changes carry identity even when tiny, especially with hair color accents and text labels nearby.
