Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksAnimal Face is for icons that place an animal-like face front and center, making eye, nose, and muzzle detail the identity anchor. Treat blur, texture, and the silhouette around the face as your key guide when text and banners compete for space.
