Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksThe <3 symbol combines a less-than sign and the number three to make a sideways heart. In buddy icons, this text-based expression of affection can stand alone, repeat as a pattern, or sit beside a short name or message.
